Some New Stitch Markers

I indulged as I often have more than one item on the go. They came from a seller on eBay, sensible packaging charge (gift wrapped) and well made

Custom Longies in Colinette Skye Toscana

These are possibly the fastest pair I have made (under 24 hours!) as I had lots of quiet time today.

I need to get a decent photo in daylight - they are more soft / mossy green overall.

Excerpt from the colinette website: "colinette skye toscana "Spring turns to hotter. In the haze the colours start to toast. Soft greens begin to pale, corn grows golden, violet goes to purple and all grow calm. There is just a hint of summer's passion in the air."

Nearly finished custom order with Uruguayan wool

I love knitting with this yarn, it does go a little thick and thin in places but it is so soft and I love these colours. I shall finish these tonight while watching a movie!

Okay swatch time again - more colour striping

This top picture shows you the whole swatch as it progresses. There are four yarns used. First of all we start off with the red, blue, purple striped with the bright rainbow. This then goes onto red, blue, purple striped with a blue and grape yarn. The third stripe is with blue and grape striped with forest fruit camo - this is brown, moss green, black and bordeaux.

Okay a third variation now - please comment!

Feedback required - I am going to send these out for testing for fit when they are dry.

Two New Wool Patterns

I have played with the Seahorse Slacks shorties pattern to make more of a pants style soaker - I had a dream the other night about it after being on messenger chatting to another wahm about pants patterns - I have other possibilities in my head but here are two for now.

The two pairs are identical as far down as where the leg openings and front gusset is grafted but the shaping for leg openings is quite different.

They have the same rise and width.

Once I have recorded the stitch and row counts etc. (I should do it all as I knit but I tend to write up some bits then record the rest afterwards which I know is a bit back to front but most of this is in my head).

Another stripe two yarn experiment

Close up of the colour - another experiment with two yarn striping - one is blue purple and the other turquoise grape.

More Finished Longies

these are now on the site for sale - lanolised and ready to go - Stu took the photo for me with his superior camera but did not arrange them in a way we longie people like to do!

Camo Pants!

I finished these whilst in Mabelthorpe on holiday - they were nearly finished before but I put to one side to make Zoe's custom order (the aztec rainbow longies). So these are the 22nd pair of longies made.

This pair are about an episode of Eastenders and Holby City away from being finished! These will be no.24.
